Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026This Privacy Policy explains how Worldle handles information when you play the game or browse this site. Worldle is designed to work without accounts, logins, or payments, so the amount of personal data involved is intentionally minimal.
Information Stored in Your Browser
Worldle saves your game progress, statistics, streaks, and guess history using your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on any Worldle server. Clearing your browser data or switching devices will reset this information.
Map and Geography Data
To draw country silhouettes and calculate distance and direction hints, Worldle loads publicly available map boundary data from a third-party geographic data source over the internet each time the board loads. This request does not include any personal information about you.
Cookies
Worldle itself does not set tracking cookies. See the Cookie Policy for more detail on any cookies that may be set by fonts or map data providers used to render the site.
Contact Form and Newsletter
The contact form and newsletter signup on this site are presented for demonstration and do not connect to a live backend or mailing list in this build. No message content is transmitted or stored when submitted.
Children's Privacy
Worldle does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the game requires no account creation, no personal identifiers are gathered from any player.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in how the site works. Continued use of Worldle after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
